For the 2010-2011 Land Rover LR4, there are options available from Mad Dad Services to add both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, both wired and wireless, while retaining OEM touch screen controls.

OEM touch screen controls for Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.  Installation is 100% plug-and-play, with only one wire splice required for power. You can control CarPlay and Android Auto applications using your existing Land Rover LR4 controls. Once installed, activate CarPlay features by holding down the HOME button, plugging in your phone via USB, and selecting AUX audio output to transmit your phone’s audio through your vehicle’s speakers. Compatible with 2010-2011 Land Rover LR4 models with the OEM SINGLE or DUAL LCD SCREEN. The unit allows you to switch between CarPlay and the OEM system seamlessly.
